Shimmering. Shining. Bright & profuse.
So much to gain. With nothing to lose.
Intriguing. Intoxicating. Drunk with delight.
Yet still I combat without winning this fight.
Brilliant & beaming. This light's gone ablaze.
But still so behind and lost deep in this maze.
Gleaming & glowing. How I wish it were true....
